happy kids...
grammy and dedad got maisy a new sandbox for her 2nd birthday. miles got one when he was one, it was fallling apart, so when grammy and dedad were here last, dedad took it down. maisy's new box has been sitting in the garage since before her birthday. i finally took it out yesterday and miles and i put it together. it is o cute and a little bigger than miles' old one. today we all went to home depot to get the sand to fill it (500lbs.). the kids are sooo happy. both my kids would stay outside 24/7 if they could, now they have something to keep them busy while they are out there.

thanks mom...
you all know i have been looking for my camera. it still has not shown up. i must have left it somewhere. on wednesday afternoon the UPS man shows up and leaves a box addressed to me. i open it and this is what was inside....
my mom must have been feeling my frustration. she sent me this (an early birthday gift) i LOVE it. it's a newer version of my old camera, and it's PINK.... mom knows me so well. thanks mom, you are the BEST! he he he

the string...
maisy got her "mousie" the day she was born, but didn't use it until she was old enough to have in her crib with her. she loved it the minute she got it, and she's slept with it just about every night since. she's not as bad as miles was with his "blankie". he had to take his blankie with him everywhere. maisy just needs mousie to sleep with. but here's how they are the same... they both had/have to put a string up their nose. miles pulled a little string out of his blankie and maisy has a little string on the end of mousie's tail that she puts up her nose. i know my kids are freaks, but how funny is it both my kids do this? they are the lights of my life.
my daredevil...
nothing seems to keep miles from his bike. i mean he falls off a 14 foot cliff, and he jumps right back on his bike. this past weekend, he took a nasty fall, his elbow was pretty swollen here he is yesterday doing jumps. this kid really has no fear. he is loving his new bike. (thanks grammy and grandad)
on another note... i still can't find my camera, so i have been trying to remember to drag my big camera around with me. hopefully it will show up soon.

i think miles looks about 12 in this picture....
