halloween 2010
as much as i like halloween, i admit i am glad when it's over. we started the night carving pumpkins, then we made homemade pizzas, got dressed and headed out for the night. we had a fun night, trick-or-treated for about 2 hours, we were so tired when we got home, we didn't even make it over to papa and sam sam's. maisy's costume was a big hit, as well as the kids treat bags. it seems like every halloween we as rushing around to get out of the house. so next year, we are breaking tradition and carving pumpkins the day before and we are getting dressed earlier so i can get the kids out front to take pics before it's dark. the pics of the kids in front of the house were actually taken 2 days later... oh well. happy halloween!

We carve our pumpkins the night before, it's just too much to try and do in one night for us.
This year we didn't head out to t-o-t until 6:15 but it gets dark so fast, I miss out on seeing all the other costumes. Next year I want to go a tad earlier.
