as you all know maisy has been really sick for the that 2 weeks. i have had her birthday party planned for a while, but when she got sick, i wasn't sure if we were going to be able to have it. thankfully she was on the mend starting thursday. each day you could tell she was feeling better, she was eating more and looking and feeling much stronger. by today, she was 97% back to herself. we had a very nice day, no rain, which was predicted. just a small family party. maisy was sooo happy. she loved when we sang "happy birthday" to her, played with her balloons, ate her cupcake and opened her gifts. i was so happy to have my healthy happy little girl back. HAPPY FIRST BIRTHDAY BABY GIRL!
Maisy at One...
* 20 lbs
* "cruising" everywhere
* standing by herself for a few seconds, when she forgets what she's doing
* eats everything, she has an amazing appetite
* tries to copy everything you say
* says... bye, miles and uh oh ( of course we can only understand it)
* wears 12 month sized clothes
* wears size 2 shoes
* wears size 3 diapers
* will not sit and play with one toy for more than a few minutes
* loves being pushed around in her new "car"
* starting to point to things she wants
* shakes her head back and forth and "sings" la la la la
* has 3 teeth, with one just about ready to "pop"
* has a big smile on her face every time she wakes up
* our little girlie girl.. we love you so much!

Okay, size 2 shoes? That caught my eye... she has tiny feet! We talked about this before and we even compared the girl's feet. Aubs is wearing size 3. Maisy better catch up! At this point I'm sure she has PLENTY of size 3s waiting for her. =)
Glad she's doing so well! That big girl is going to pass Aubrey up in EVERY area soon!
I can't believe she is ONE!! She was younger than emerick (I think) when I photographed her!!! Time really flies.
